An informed that on January 12th Japanese aeroplanes

dropped 48 bombs on Hoihow, Hainan Island and that casualties

were over 150. On January 13th Canton Hankow Railway reported

bombed twice in neighbourhood Kwuntin and Sumbang stations.

Seventy feet of track damaged.

by two incendiary bombs.
